Whilst I understand the need to lower traffic and create safer roads, closing all of the roads that are near each other is a huge inconvenience and is not practical. It increases travelling times and distances for work and for emergency cases, and we have to take much longer routes to access our homes. The traffic on Iffley is awful- it is the only way to travel at the moment, and I think opening at least Littlemore road will help this situation.

Caring for my parents is now virtually impossible without driving completely out of my way taking twice as long. I also work full time, have children of my own to look after so walking/cycling with their shopping and collecting their prescriptions etc is not an option

It's isolating my family making us have to make longer journeys for the fuel station to see family members all round nuisance and its making parents doing school runs block up my road like carzy

It is NOT fare that all the other thousands of houses are now having to have ALL this EXTRA traffic, who also have kids and have ill heath , now being polluted even more!! Plus the extra time getting places, I am in the car twice as long polluting the air even more from these stupid eye soars being installed. Come on County and residents that have the quieter roads, it not all about where you live, think of poor other families.

This new road fiasco is a total disaster, I presume none of the Councillors live or work in the area to experience the chaos. Just go to the top of Newman Road at rush hour and watch the traffic build up to a standstill due to extra traffic and the ridiculous chicanes at the top of Newman Road...Littlemore roundabout can come to a standstill. and has with numerous vehicles at a standstill due to the chicanes in Newman Road. Emergency service vehicles will now take longer to access properties in the area...this was not thought out sensibly or with the consideration of the residents involved. Access takes longer for most due to the longer drive to their properties...more pollution, not less. It needs to revert to the way it was before their are accidents or worse people dying due to emergency services being hindered. It is disgusting they way this has been thrust on peoples lives. Know which way l will be voting in the next election...

They should not have the road close its not working and it will not work in THE future they must not close down the road should be closed it's really despondent and not a good for using for taxi business or police or ambulance services many thanks.
