End traffic barriers in Littlemore and Cowley

This just moves the problem on creating more traffic, congestion and pollution

Whoever came up with this idea needs their head testing, absolutely ridiculous

Didn’t give this much thought, who are the fools that are running are councils ......

There a nightmare causing drivers to go way out of there way causing more traffic congestion than before take them down they achieve nothing.

LTNs will and have caused a larger build-up of traffic in other residential streets - namely, Crescent road which is ready congensted

It made traffic worse,specialy in the morning when i try to put my kid to school. Polution it is getting worse to

Can't go any where without using more fuel and time live in church cowley road and is very busy

The implementation of this scheme has been very underhand; the residents directly affected (including myself) were not informed before the barriers were put up. All people affected should have been notified and given a chance to raise queries (an online consultation no one was aware of is not good enough) throughout.

cowley area - all you have done is made the cowley rd busier and more dangerous, plus we now have to drive more miles so causing more pollution!!!!

I actually pay loads of tax on my five cars and on my significant income so have more right to have more access to public services. I should have more say on changes to my city because of that. Please don’t Google the rationale behind vehicle tax and what tax is spent on infrastructure. I also own a bike but because I pay more tax I should also have the right to cycle it wherever I want.

Very ill thought out. Having to to detours to get to work, putting strain on Iffley Road already congested at roundabout. Totally flawed system.

It's disgraceful blocking main arteries

An ill thought out plan. Whilst you may have made some roads quieter you have displaced the traffic onto other routes and created longer routes not just in time but miles too thus creating more pollution.

This is the main road from littlemore to Cowley centre and the only other route is to go round rose hill roundabout which is dangerous most of the time and it causes more traffic at the bottom of rose hill to turn right.It should go back to the way it was

A waste of money , money that could have been used to repair the roads of Oxford which are in an awful state , Why build roads for motor vehicles and charge road tax for vehicles if you then take these roads for bicycle users who pay nothing towards the roads ! Bicycle users should have to pay road tax to be cycling on the roads just as a person driving a vehicle would , By putting these ridiculous big flower pots blocking roads not only has money been wasted but also emergency services are having to go other routes which in turn is putting peoples lives at stake ! I bet the person who came up with this foolish idea does not live in the area

This is an idealistic plan flawed from the beginning and not consulted properly - many residents did not know the implication till put in place. Specific roads in the scheme need to be safer for all but other ways . It has been stated that it is to encourage local residents not to take short routes but has effected and isolated one part of a ward from the other. Timing should have been from August and would have seasonal variations.

This makes life so much harder for the majority, whilst the minority can use the roads as they please. So making life harder, if you want car travel to decrease, try making bus fares cheaper and stop charging for parking at the park and rides

Whilst I understand the benefits of this scheme, it has created a huge problem for travel. It is incredibly impractical to close all the roads in a nearby vicinity, and it forces people to travel longer distances through the same route, which has created more traffic overall. Please consider opening at least Littlemore road.
