End traffic barriers in Littlemore and Cowley

LTNs are a wonderful example of NIMBYism & the council’s determination to level down car ownership, as opposed to levelling up public transport.

Remember this at election time in may everyone. Tom Hayes must go!!

The Bollards block the few roads that ease the traffic on Crowley road which now causes an overwhelming load of traffic, noise, and pollution focused to the one road. This therefore counteracts the bollards effect and cause more issues for those living in those roads as well as on Cooley road.

Successfully adds extra distance to many essential car journeys. Adding to carbon footprint and adding to congestion on the already most congested roads in the area.

Emergency services are thwarted and the only road out of my area is congested and parked out. The LTNs are eyesores, waste of taxpayers money.

They have caused so much hassle for all residents and those of us who have caring responsibilities this has made it harder. Not only that the pollution caused by longer journeys is not progressive for the governments plans for a greener environment. Not all of us have the ability to cycle and walk. We cannot deem the choices of a few for the majority. Complete waste of time and money which could have been spent better on supporting the needs of families and children who need it during this pandemic.

Longer journey means more Pollution. Minimise journey time and save the planet

One of the worst decisions ever made by our council. After having our freedoms stripped away during the past year, and the stress that has come with it, to then further control us with barriers in our local area is incredibly insensitive, poorly timed and unintelligent. I've never felt less free and more controlled in all my life here in Oxford. Do our councillors care about the stress and inconvenience they're causing to the people they should be representing? Ancillary roads were built for a reason and ease congestion, and queues, reduce journey times and pollution and idling engines - they are GOOD for the environment! Remove these barrier monstrosities now and I urge everyone DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY COUNCILLOR IN FAVOUR OF THIS!!!

Other man routes have not been updated to allow for the increased traffic also makes cycling and walking harder with increased pollution along these routes. Also increased pollution due to vehicles having to travel further.

Remove obstruction immediately, it is creating more traffic on main Roads and making life difficult for emergency services as well for the locals

It is a silly idea: should end immediately, it is making life more miserable for everyone

Stop this ridiculous waste of money that only adds to congestion and pollution.

These LTNs are a stupid idea and concentrates traffic on to already busy roads, and now increases polution and driver frustration. Littlemore Road (CC3) and Bartholomew Road (CC6) should never be closed as these are major through roads. The council want vehicles to use the ring road, however they now force vehicles to take longer routes before they can join the ring road. The traffic lights by the multi-story car park at the bottom of Crowell Road are EXTREMLY DANGEROUS and only have filters in 2 directions, so the junctions without filters often only let one car through when turning right which again produces even more polution. ALL LTNs NEED TO BE REMOVED.

It's so stupid it makes other roads really busy to get my grandchildren to School I have to go miles out of my way we have to leave a lot earlier it just doesn't make sense please remove them

Please end traffic barriers.This is making more traffic jam, pollution, stress...

I am a midwife who works at Florence Park. This has increased my journey to work by over 15 minutes. Each visit I have to attend I have to drive further to reach the blocked streets.

the LTN's are pointlees as all they are doing is reducing access to people in these estates. the only real ratrun is westbury crescent/church hill road being used to avoid the lights at the cenotaph..

I am in agreement that these LTNS need removing, not proper consultation and increasing traffic and pollution.
