End traffic barriers in Littlemore and Cowley

Increases journey times. Many cannot cycle or walk. Littlemore road is a main thoroughfare from Littlemore to Cowley and beyond. It is not a 'rat-run'.

I'm afraid people, especially young and those who are limited financially. May walk part of their journey home at night rather than pay more for taxis to drive around. This may put many at risk of robbery or assault.

Totally bonkers scheme, they've blocked off all the relatively quiet roads and shifted all traffic to busier surrounding roads with longer journeys for everyone - it is making traffic and pollution worse. Total Madness.

It’s stupid putting up LTN on roads I’m disabled how can I go any where like shopping wen most of the roads are closed off n how can I take my child to school I cnt walk them there it’s waste of money urgent families need help during the COVID pandemic what are the conucil playing at and how can emergency vehicles suppose to get to an emergency place wen the roads are closed off that’s people lives are Risk take them all down and stop wasting money that the country doesn’t have

Utterly ridiculous idea. Perhaps invest the money into something worthwhile like more electric car charging points. It's mind boggling that the OCC think these are good idea. Each and everyone one of them that signed this off should be sacked

I think it’s a waste of time just pushing the traffic down the bypass l am just waiting for a crash at littlemore roundabout then where do the diversion of car go it will come to a stand still it’s a joke we live near a car factory that build cars so get rid of them it makes sense in the end

West money and more pollution as the residence have to long way to get home if just other side of the barriers. Remove them as soon as possible, do not wait for six months.

What an absolute shambles Leave the roads alone in Oxford , you’ve already made Cowley Road impossible but now you want to channel the rest of the traffic into the impossible Cowley Road absolutely ludicrous I’ve lived in Oxford all my life I pay my road tax I pay my council tax or you can think of is doing things to to make them impossible Maybe you should concentrate on knife crime and homelessness

It Has ruined Cowley it's a nightmare

I live on Oxford Road Cowley and the traffic is now really dangerous. The low pollution is not working for us and we are not being heard. If this continues I feel we should have our council tax scrapped to in some way make up for the damage done to us and our houses.

The LTNs create congestion on all major routes around the area and disruption to locals of the area. Total waste of money and time.

Road were built to be for transport! LTN just causes extra traffic anf longer journeys.

They are causing delays to emergency service. Have seen them having to turn around on lights. Utterly ridiculous idea to put them in place and dangerous to life..

These are horrible, and silly ideas, they are only making the traffice worse, this week I had to go via Headdington Morrel Avenue to city centre, due to all local routes access blocked and main route hollowway route to cowley road and city completely at stand still in the morning on Friday 26th March. These rae un-neccasry and stuipoed ideas should be scrpped ASAP most hated policy ever. It takes locals a lot longer drive to go around to get in and out of these crazy Zones. Also health safety issues even Emergency service are unable to get througha s a result there will be unnecassry deaths because ambulances can not reach people getting stuck going around on main routes that are full of traffic during peak times. Please ENd these silly trials ASAP and save tax payers money betetr spent some where else reduce council tax instead if you can not find some where betetr to spend it.

The Cowley area LTNs are just causing more traffic build up and more traffic congestion in Rose Hill, Iffley road and Cowley road, and we are not even at a fraction of normal traffic levels on the roads...total lack of consultation in the local area and feels really poorly thought through
