This is an unfair decision by the council for the local residents. These barriers should be removed with the immediate affect.

Please remove these death traps designed to pollute the area with increased congestion and much longer trips for all the locals. This scheme has turned the main roads around the area into car parks with so much more congestion all around. Traffic will get worst after the lockdown especially during peak times. Public transport will suffer more delays for all local commuters to city centre in particular as buses are likely to get stuck in the traffic no bus lanes in the area. Design a better public transport to city centre, cycle tracks trams , underground tube from Cowley.

Traffic is being forced out onto other roads because of LTN. In Temple Cowley this means much more traffic on Hollow Way, and Cowley Road.

As an Oxford citizen, I deplore these ideologically-motivated actions to restrict the ability of fellow citizens to go about their lives and work. There is never any proper consultation. Just an obscure announcement on the net which only the instigators and their similar-thinking cronies are aware of.

Good thinking Oxford - how would a disabled driver (who has access) get out to move the barriers I wonder? let me think - 24x7 manned barriers to move on demand in all weathers?Err......

THese barriers serve no purpose. Positioned directly outside my private parking area, I now have to drive an extra 4 - 6 miles a day to get to, and from work on already congested roads. Due to the positioning of the bollards cars, taxis and vans continue to drive through, and the road has now become a rat run when previously it was relatively quiet! It would have been more worthwhile to have dealt with the boy racers, drug dealers and drunkards on Rymers Lane first!

Causes chaos to local traffic, causing increased emissions on the remaining routes due to all traffic going slower (longer journey times for all).

I am a teacher and I am struggling to go to work on time... so please end this traffic control and find other means to solve this traffic.

Fear of putting pressure on other roads and traffic for home owners and emergency services. We need more roads not less, also affects local businesses too as lots of people need to drive and park close.

I disagree with the city council and county council in their attempt to enforce LTN in Cowley

Absolute waste of money. Could have been used to fill the pot holes in the roads that are falling apart or parking for residents without driveways! I imagine the Co-op will suffer from this too. Then there will be another building standing empty! Plenty more the money could have been spent on but seems yet again our tax payer money is being put to waste!
