I object to these barriers. I live in Littlemore and these barriers mean I have to take the dual carriageway to even get to littlemore. They are not productive, there are huge ques on the bypass and I cant see how this helps the enviroment. It adds to journeys and hinders Littlemore residents from being aboel to get to Coweley and surreounding areas efficiently. They do not work!

Testing during lockdown gives a false impression of impact. Emergency vehicles will be impacted by extra traffic on other roads. No extra, cheaper transport solutions in place to facilitate commuters housed by oxfordshire in villages thus forcing them to commute via car. Gridlock the already struggling Templers square shopping Centre as though lockdown hasn’t done enough damage to those few shops still trading

The LTNS are causing more traffic around the local streets and making it more difficult to take my child to school

A council representative told me that they wanted to get the road environment back to what it was like in the 1970s when it was easy to walk and cycle! As yet no published methodology on how the impact on traffic will be assessed which will have to take into account changes arising from 'lock down' being lifted.

This just shunts traffic to other areas to increase conjestion there . . . . What data/evidence of danger has been provided AND will that be compared with the increased danger in the other streets that the trafffic WILL have to go down .. Also, I suspect, tha tthis is an attempt at money grabbing, by forcing hundreds if not thousands to get parking permits at £65 a time, ie 50,000+ revenue, to cover the wastages and over waged in other areas. it's basically a tax scheme as well.

I am a professional dog walker and I have no choice but to drive to collect all my dogs but now I have dogs that live more or less next door to each other that I need to make a 10 minute detour to collect. How is that reducing traffic or pollution?

this is shameful and totally unnecessary exercise. That has caused massive inconvenience to all local residents and people trying to visits this area's. I don't think the person made this decision could had been in the right mind as all it has done is cause massive chaos and stress to people in the area. Please don't get me started on the parking permitt situation which again is a totally disgusting and shameful way of extorting money out of people where live in the quiet residential area. I feel absolutely disgusted with the authorities for this outrageous steps are being taken.
