Total waste of time, it just redirects all traffic on other roads which causes major congestion. Especially at Newman road

This is a nightmare for our business, the traffic on Cowley Road is far too busy most times of the day now. Please get rid of these restrictions, it’s putting customers off.

Making my commute from work twice as long and I think it’s making the air pollution worse

The LTNs have almost trapped me at home. I’m spending much more on petrol and a great deal more time in the car...often stuck in the new traffic jams

These new blockades are totally unfair and cause huge anxiety to those already struggling to save their businesses when visiting people’s homes, carers, dog walkers, cleaners, gardners, to name a few..

I work as a one man self employed freelance hairdresser, this scheme is unfair on residents living on alternative routes. I’m often caught in traffic now with engines running causing more pollution to the city and overall environment. Without being unable to use my low emission car for work. I drive a low emission car and this is causing great anxiety to myself and others.

Tailbacks on Cowley Road, Iffley Road, Between Towns Road ... I'm driving miles more than I would and therefore spreading more pollution.

This road planning is just moving the pollution problem to other areas. When Howard Street is blocked, then the Oxford Road (Cowley Road) will be one big traffic jam causing no end of problems for everyone. O

So much more traffic outside my house now. No one has thought of how other roads will be affected!

It is now taking me at least an extra 15 minutes to get home - trying to turn into the traffic at 5pm is ridiculous. I live where there are no buses and I have to drive. How is this reducing pollution if all this traffic is sat stationary for so long? I have seen several incidences of road rage also already in the past 10 days, and it will only get worse. Absolutely ludicrous idea.

This is just havoc on other road, as everyone is trying to use the same route to get around, causing constant traffic. This is not fair on any emergency services either, as they are forced to use the same route as everyone else, causing them to be stuck either way.

Cowley Centre has been my shopping area for 40 years. But no longer. It is quicker now to use abingdon or even Didcot.

This is absolutely ridiculous Bartholomew road is a main road I do not understand why a main road has been blocked forcing traffic onto already congested roads what happens when people who are working from home go back to work? total mayhem! whoever thought of this ludicrous idea clearly does not live in the area

Totally ridiculous idea. Drivers are being forced into other roads causing more pollution for those roads. Children attending schools near these roads are breathing in more fumes, clearly their well-being is not as important. The sooner this scheme is scrapped the better.

This is absolutely ridiculous in case of an emergency ambulance, fire service and police also do not have access through these roads which could be a matter of life and death. Installing these barriers and eventually removing them when they realise how illogical they are is a huge waste of taxpayers money. The council workers that approved this should be immediately sacked as they are clearly incompetent and wasted taxpayers money also their wages is another waste of taxpayers money
