Pushing more traffic on to already busy roads .so causing more pollution . And putting more cyclists at risk trying to get into the city centre

total waste of resource and money against the wishes of the majority . Money is best spent on repairing pot holes and more efficient traffic light programming. When they put the cameras up it will be just a money making machine taxing the motorist and local community. A journey that used to take a few minutes takes an hour and extra miles burning fuel. I thought we're meant to be saving the planet? this is what happens when you vote in councillors that do not live in your area. they don't care about you because they have no idea about travelling in those areas. Think about it when you vote in upcoming elections where do your councillor live. Hollow way is the next target, nightmare waiting to happen.
I got a broken windscreen doing a detour to littlemore having to go on a newly gritted road on bypass. the response to the consultation was so small that its invalid, I would say maybe illegal but the council did it anyway without due regards to the majority of residents. its a familiar pattern they done the same with residents parking in our area.
Any prospective councillor against this gets my vote.

It’s all well and good doing these schemes, but it honestly causes for everyone but forcing all the traffic onto the other roads surrounding that areas, making journeys longer and public transport is expensive and when like me you have to catch several buses to get to say iffley it honestly is not cost effective or time saving.

The LTNs are doing more damage than good. 1. They are a liability to emergency services (ambulance, fire fighters, etc.) which waste precious minutes getting to the site of the emergency resulting in loss of life. 2. The LTNs have actually increased traffic, air and noise pollution: they have simply moved all traffic (which was once spread across the Cowley area) to the low-income neighbourhoods. 3. They constitute a further obstacle to low-income households to get to their often out-of-town workplaces. 4. They affect large families who can't afford expensive bus tickets, or will take a much longer time to get to school/work due to poor public transport connection.5. LTNs are a hindrance to elderly, disabled and neurodivergent people who can rely only on their car for necessary and urgent travel. Conversely, they make it difficult for the families of the aforementioned categories to reach their loved ones promptly in case of emergency or enjoy their company longer and/or more often. 6. Implementing LTNs during a deadly pandemic with bollards obstructing swift ambulance passage IS CRIMINAL.
For all these reasons, I believe the whole LTN project in Cowley should be scrapped.

My usual 10 minute journey takes 45 minutes. My commute to work used to take 20 minutes and now it takes me an hour to get home. I support reducing traffic but these road blocks are not the solution. Especially without removing parking on Holloway and adjusting the traffic lights.

This scheme is ridiculous it forces cars onto already very busy roads like Rose Hill and the Garsington road causing more congestion and pollution in the area, this has not been thought out and executed very well at all, turning right at the traffic lights at the bottom of Rose Hill you are met with cars parked on both sides of the roads that effectively narrows the road to one lane when anything the size of a transit van or bigger stops at the lights, more traffic jams and pollution, my 90 yo father lives on Crowell Road and I live outside the ring road so have to navigate through this mess a couple of times a week to bring his shopping ect.
Its more trafic on the road now then before .
