I implore you to ban fireworks. It's a terrible and senseless tradition which terrifies both people and defenseless animals. And in Cape Town where the vegetation is tinder dry, fireworks can easily lead to fires.

I got animals & are sitting with a stray jack Russell that ended up in my yard & can't find the owner oof the dog.

This practice is outdated and often ends in cruelty towards animals and small children. Just ban it and do away with the misery it inflicts!
