Itwould be great if poeple who exprience a fragilyt fracture have joined up services including timely access to fracture liaison services

Hip fractures, a result of osteoporosis, cost the NHS and social services 1 billion pounds a year; let alone untold misery for those with the condition.

It is incredibly important that all people affected by osteoporosis receive the necessary help and support required no matter where they live

As a 62 year old just diagnosed with osteopenia I am annoyed to think this could have been prevented with earlier intervention

As an osteoporosis nurse trying to administer a drug to patients that some aren't getting because of this postcode lottery and trying to establish a fracture liaison service this needs to be at the forefront now !

I broke my back and was treated locally but notes aren’t shared between hospitals no physio either.

I started working in this speciality some 20yrs ago and in spite of endless efforts we still await recognition of th importance of FLS.

The impact of the postcode lottery is pain , suffering and sadly premature deaths plus huge un-necessary expense for health and social care. Its a "no-brainer" to properly fund this - the payback is immediate and huge for the taxpayer and public
