End the postcode lottery for Fracture Liaison Services (FLS)

I also think that we should have dexa scans for all women in the the 6 months or a year after menopause to check bone density so they can know if they at risk of bone density dropping further and take immediate action to prevent loss of bone density

My husband has a recent diagnosis

This access is so important for everyone and proper investment in FLS must be immediate. Looking after our population across the country in this way will keep down the NHS costs long term.

The only news about available treatment comes from Osteoporosis society not GP.

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in lock down after yet another fracture. DEXA requested as over 50yrs. So important to have FLS available throughout the Country.

I support the better bones for all campaign

A comprehensive FLS service is pivotal to improving the current mortality and morbidity from fractures

I completely support this as a radiographer who has worked in Bone Densitometry. I would like to see a screening bone scan offered to everyone over the age of 50

Desperately need a FLS in my area

This is a really important and often overlooked issue that is costly to the NHS and to peoples' quality of life

If a FLS had been in my area of the country I could have been diagnosed early enough to help prevent or slow down my osteoporosis.

This is a particualrly relevant campaign for Primary Care Respiratory Society given the link between oral steroids other long term steroid use and the prevalence of fractures and osteoporisis

I was on high dose steroids for many years after Autoimmune Hepatitis, and was not told about the risk of osteoporosis for a very long time. I support any initiatives for easing fractures.
