I support this campaign - widening access to fracture liaison services throughout the UK would represent a significant step forwards in osteoporosis care

Fracture liaison services are a necessity and play a pivotal role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. A must for any proactive health service. A life line for those with osteoporosis.

The financial case for comprehensive access to FLS's for all those over 50 seems compelling. The moral case to prevent unnecessary suffering even more so.

I am very passionate about the FLS service which provides vital treatment in the prevention of fractures. I have seen first hand the impact fractures have on our agung population and we need these services evermore as people are living longer.

Health inequalities are growing. It is completely unjustifiable that where you live dictates the provision of osteoporosis care that you will receive, yet it is so.

as both a registered nutritional therapist and an osteoporosis sufferer I recognise the need for better access to scanning. Testing to see if treatment is effective is currently a very slow difficult process which in turn inhibits adherence to treament and medication.

I work as a private physiotherapist and would like to see a much fairer fracture liaison service nationwide. Osteoporosis can be a totally debilitating condition and anything we can do to help prevent and manage Osteoporosis should be instigated as soon as possible.

Every effort must be made to prevent fractures which can cause debilitating injury and pain. Access should be made available to all that needed as prevention and treatment is key ongoing bone health.

It is vital that we offer patients evidence based therapies reliably to prevent fractures and in particular the devastating effects of hip fractures.

Measures are needed to combat fragility fractures, for which FLS is the solution.

As a retired orthopaedic nurse I support any moves to help in the early detection and treatment of people with or at risk of osteoporosis

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis after suffering severe back pain, & Xrays showed several fractured vertebrae. I have suffered another bout of pain last year, & more vertebrae have been damaged. I have lost 4 inches in height, & my mobility is impaired, I bought a wheel chair to make life easier for my partner & myself.
