Mercari was a trusted selling app for me for 4 years. But it looks like recently they started to change their game up - that, or I never had to deal with the absolutely awful hellhole that is their customer service. I'm absolutely disgusted by the lack of human response and accountability taken by this company. Clearly they were not ready to branch out to a different country. Stop stealing people's money.

This is horrible!
I also find this company sketchy. This past month I’ve been trying to contact Mercari Customer service to unsubscribe from the weekly automated emails. The “unsubscribe” button sent me to a linkup that didn’t allow any way of doing so, and the company was no help (I’ve never received a response back from them).

Mercari suspended my account for suspicious activity when all i did was try to spend the money I earned. They never messaged me back or gave me a reason why. They dont have any problem immediately collecting their fees

Mercari need better customer center, they don’t care about there members and delete accounts left and right. I feel discriminated. I’ve done nothing wrong and my account got deleted with $150 on it. So I’m signing this petition.

Mercari app accused me of selling fake silver coins.A federal offense.Ruined me, took the money I was owed by changing my account number blocking me out from changing it to the correct number.I sold their for over a year and then bam.accused, kicked out, ripped off . Don't even begin to think about making a dollar on this app. SERIOUSLY, KEVIN HEATH

Mercari claimed 2 of my broken item insurance claims and kept money. I listed a authentic LV wallet. Buyer claimed it was not as stated and that reason was it’s fake. Mercari authenticated the wallet. I got proof from LV and now buyer won’t give me my item back and Mercari has my money!!

Ripped me off!! I got a canceled order finally after trying in vain to cancel an item that was broken and Mercari took my money out anyway. I filed a complaint with bbb this company has to be stopped!!

My issue is the fee's are too much you literally sell your items and left with nothing when done. I am still selling there now and the fee's are ridiculous!!!!!
