Mercari first put on hold my money , than they just shut down my whole account without letting me to take my money ! There was over $500 my savings for college , and now I don’t know what to do about it! This is ridiculous!

They stole. 180 from me I think cuz my ex had an account and got banned and I didn’t think twice when he used my address till he told me he got banned for cussing at ppl

I am being scammed by a buyer on Mercari. I have used the app for over 4yrs with no issues until I decided to list a Canada Goose jacket (retails for $900). Sold it for $550 on the app and the buyer is claiming she received broken glass and a random book instead of the jacket. The buyer and I BOTH submitted support tickets and Mercari is granting the buyer a refund without acknowledging my side of the story nor opening an investigation. The messages I finally received from support are automated and unhelpful. From reading reviews it appears other people have complained about zero help from support especially if you’re a seller.

Mercari is definitely shady. There is more than one issue going on with mercari . An i dont just mean poor service. Ive sold several 1,000’s of items on many sites . There is not enough being done to protect the people using these sites. If u become an issue whether right or wrong they close your account . Ive already found out how offerup is ripping off people. Sames going on at mercari and more .

Mercari scammed me from over $500, after I gave them my ID to discuss my account. They then froze me from using it or any of my family members. They also threatened that they will hold additional 90 days if I contact them or try to use Mercari. They blocked me from all access. They are being biased against aged and disabled individuals trying to make money to pay for a surgery that insurance does not cover. They swear it is fake goods being sold, but they are authentic and they can not say it is fake if they never handled the product themselves. They can not just take a buyers word. I have receipts where I bought my products form.

I don’t have a account with them and they took money out of my account and I wasn’t even on my phone. The time they took it I was in a airplane. Pls refund me my money or I’ll call the BBB and get a lawyer I work too hard for mines just to let you crooks take it

Mercari closed my account after I files a dispute for receiving a counterfeit item that was purchased on their application. Mercari not only closed my account but took my balance from the sales I had done on Mercari. Mercari stole $201.66 from me.

I’ve been scammed on mercari. Then they closed my entire account because I “violated terms of service” I needed to buy something so tried to make a new account; it was really difficult because mercari wouldn’t let me use any of the same info. Finally bought the pants, and then mercari out of no where closes my new account for no reason. Also they put me in a group email where we can all see eachothers private info (I mean IDs!)
