I have been screwed over many times with Mercari I sent a buyer $10 worth of items and after I mailed the order Mercari cancelled it for no reason and I never got my money or my items back, I was banned for using trade in a comment with over 500 great ratings my account was deleted, horrible customer service

They need to protect sellers from scammers receiving merchandise they don't intent on paying for, asking for a refund without returning the item to the seller.

I had the same thing just happen to me today. I had over 100 listings and had a perfect selling and buying record and had my account deleted because I used the trade in a sentence. I had $10 in credits from referrals that I brought over to the site and that was all washed away for nothing. The customer service is a joke that takes too long to respond to and doesn't consider the seller's point of view or side. Not that they even had a customer to back because there was no dispute, the comment was merely flagged then automatically deleted and there was nothing to be done about it. So frustrating. It took hours to upload and I spent a good amount of time on that site and relied on it for things more affordable in my price point but now I am blocked with no way to contest it or ask for it back. I might not have been apt to write a review about the site had they worked with me a little but it was a "case closed no ifs, ands or butts about it" handling that I wasn't impressed with.

Horrible customer service. Absolutely no consideration for the sellers. I had excellent reviews and because of using the term TRADE they deleted my account. Absolutely ridiculous! Just an awful app with so many flaws. Not worth the hassle.

I was banned for saying the word "trade." I wasn't asking a person to trade, I simply said it in a sentence.

They give out warnings and cancel transactions for stupid reasons. In my case it was because I either spammed different listings too much or gave out personal info to send more pictures to customers. I got a warning today that my account was under review, and if it gets suspended I'll loose $70. Not much but this is my full time job.
