END THE MERCARI SCAMS

I got scammed for almost $600 they inactivated my account now I do not have access to the funds.

Suspended indefinetly for no apparent reason and will not respond. I cannot comment, like,or purchase and I have a pending transaction that I can't rate to receive my money.

I am doing this because I realized that mercari always fails to put effort into serious investigation in order to prevent users scamming others on mercari. I just lost $30 value watch that I had sold for $4 + $4 shipping. After I requested rate from buyer unsuccessfully then I contacted the mercari support and as resolution I would have to work with usps for claim...etc. That's painful when being nice to people and they middle finger you in middle of holidays.

To many transaction I have gone into that end in cancellation from scammers

They delete top selling accounts without question, without verification, and without response and have ripped off so many people that I know. Horrible & unethical business.

This site keeps accusing me of asking for peoples contact information, which I have never done. I am in the legal arena and I understand privacy laws. I'm going to sue the pants off of this company for libeling my name and harassing me. They also will not refund money for items that I ordered that we're not the real thing they were impostors. Will never use this company again they will end up going under because they are so dishonest

They do not protect buyers or sellers right. They'll just steal your money while you get nothing. Literally scammers paradise

I was scammed by Mercari. I sold $65 worth of items to a girl for only $34. The girl made false claims about my items to get a return and mercari honored it. I received my package after usps said it was delivered and it was nothing but a pack of gum. I was infuriated and messaged mercari about the problem but they told me I didn't reach them within 24 hours of receiving my return so they couldn't do anything about it. This app will scam you do not use.

I lost 200 due to seller fraud. Mercari sided with them and I lost the item and money.

I had never listed anything for sale on Mercari, had only used it to purchase things. They suspended me indefinitely, saying my credit card showed suspicious payment activity. I don't understand how this is possible; I swipe about $5k per month and this has never happened until I started using this app. Lesson learned though; I'd rather pay more for an item through another platform than deal with unorganized ones anyways.

Mercari suspended my account for no reason that I can determine then kept my balance:(
