They shut down my account without any just reason. I cannot get my money and no remorse from their team. No intentions to resolve the matter. Say we violated rules but just shut down the account as a punishment or pay a penalty but holding all thhe funds due to the seller?!?!?!?!?!?! That’s not fair! That’s stealing!

UPS approved a claim for my lost package (seller) they sent the money to Mercari and Mercari will not refund me!! Boots were $300!!! What else can I do, to get my money??

This company is unethical and a fraud. My account was closed because I called out a seller that showed up in my inbox harrasing me about an authentic brand item I was selling. I have all 5 star reviews. I told her I know she sold fake items and she ADMITTED to it in the chat. BUT the fake item she sold was authenticated by Mercari's partner company! I asked Mercari why is this buyers items authenticated when she admitted it's fake? They told me they would look into it and then blocked me. They didn't get any money from me but I had shipments pending and couldn't contact my customers. Mercari is shady. I have a feeling they set up their own seller accounts and have their own stuff authenticated.

I have been selling on Mercari for a while until one day I got on to find my account with a balance of zero and all my listings deleted. I have no clue what I even did for them to steal my money. Who is this legal!?

It has been a few months that I’ve used Mercari but when I go to sign on today, I get a message saying “unauthorized user.” Along with quietly shutting down my account, Mercari took my funds stored on their app also without notice. Stealing is stealing when you take what is not yours and in this case Mercari steals Money from individuals who’ve earned it by selling their personal physical goods even after taking a percentage of the sales and somehow believes it is okay to block and not notify and provide steps to relinquish money but rather just take it unannounced. Bluntly put, this is a digital crime that the laws have not caught up to.

Been with mercari since 2015 and they have stole from me and harassed me and discriminated against me from day one. I finally can't take it anymore. Trying to wrap things up but they have stole the last of my money effed up my account they are ignoring me. They need to be shut down. Their customer service is allowed to do whatever they want to u and the developers condone it.

2,990$ was taken from me when they requested proof of identity that I sent 5 times. Then they just closed it and held the balance! I have been fighting with them

They closed my account with $800+ and sales in pending of over $2500+.. so they’re keeping both as soon as sales clear?! This is so unethical. Why isn’t anyone doing anything about this? If there are funds that clear they should release it and when transactions clear they should give us our money instead they’re keeping it for “chargebacks and refunds”... this is considered STEALING... America! That’s not right! We work hard!

Mercari creates fakes ads to scam buyers as well. Theres a lot of them. I got tricked and I found out when I purchased a shoe and next day my money was taken out without my confirmation that I received my shoe. I looked at the USPS label and it showed my package got delivered 15 days before the date I ordered it. It was a made up USPS label made by Mercari, I can tell because whoever typed it up didn't know how to spell.
