Anyone that uses the Mercari app, be careful. They have now taken $45 out of my bank account, deleted my Mercari account, can not tell me what I was charged for, and refuse to refund my money claiming they can't find any account with the information I provided... which included my name, address, the item number I was emailed saying I was charged for, email the account was made with, shipping address, and phone number associated to the account, as well as screenshots of where they emailed me saying I had been charged and my account deleted and there is NO PHONE NUMBER to talk to customer support and the online customer support keep sending generalized responses and saying they can't locate my account. I am beyond mad. Will be going to the BBB & tempted to sue for theft.

Used mercari for a long time, sold hundreds of things with great reviews. I accidentally typed my new card number in wrong and all of a sudden it alerts me that everything that I've purchased in the last week is cancelled and My account is suspended. I don't care that they suspended my account but I do care that I email/costumer service message them everyday and NO REPLY. They won't reply and stole $100 from me.

Scammed me out of my money...account got falsely banned...I had 56 great reviews, and a few good. Shame on you Mercari. They violate their own terms & conditions contract by falsely stating that "customer service" handles all claims & issues, yet customer service is automated & not handled by an actual person but a computerized system. No telephone or address is given which should be a fraudulent cause within itself. Justice will be served.

This just happened to me. They cancelled four items I bought. I hope I get the $135 I transferred seconds before they suspended my account. It's really too bad cause this was the only site I did very well on.

Revoked my account for no reason after I was an honest and fair user. Ended multiple transaction and said I had suspicious payment methods. Cancelled all the birthday presents I had ordered for my daughter. Will be waiting for numerous refunds

They suspended my wife after she tried buying a purse. She was still waiting to be "rated" to receive $131 from a sale where the customer left her hanging. Now she has "received" the credit on her account, but since they wrongly suspended her, she is unable to direct deposit her funds let alone use them on the site. Horrible horrible company. They draw you in with multiple good experiences and then jump at the first chance they have to victimize you.

purchased a iteam that was never send to me ..money was stolen and still to this day that person is trying to use my card and buy shoes ,food, etc. I only know this because after every purchase on that card it tells me on my phone and they've revoked my account and have all my info

Same for me bought an item with a card I have used multiple times in there and got suspended the money is in my balance and I can't even transfer it to my bank! They better get their head out of their asses I'm over them.
