We are 1 1/2 miles from the works & can't go outside at 9 on Sundays as the noise is like bombs going off ! Worse than the sonic booms in Nov.!

There are lots of medical personnel on the Island that have to be up early for work. The noise prevents us from being able to get sufficient sleep.

I agree w/ending the summer Sunday fireworks. It’s def money that could be better spent elsewhere in our community. As a full time resident of the EEHD, I don’t think the expense is justified. What’s the ROI for our island?

Please stop the fireworks on Sunday. I live off of the island and do not know anyone who goes to Galveston to see Fireworks on Sunday night. There are other ways to attract the public. I love Galveston but the fireworks on Sundays actually deter me and my pet from coming there to visit.
