I doubt that Sunday night fireworks make or break anyone's plans for visiting the island.

Please discontinue these firework displays. Surely there are alternatives to create tourism’s that does not cause discomfort to local residence, and wildlife.

Please end the weekly fireworks, it is detrimental to pets and wildlife. No benefit to residents.

Makes no sense why the Sunday night shows all summer. My pets hate them and as most of us that work find the Sunday night shows disturbing normal sleeping time. I see no benifit to the tourists. I would rather they take that and out on a proper New Years Show such as 4th of July.

Let's use that funding for decorative lighting, special trolley tours and other ways to show off Galveston to visitors in more permanent and less disruptive ways.
