Ridiculous thinking people stay until 9 for a 10 minute display. Day trippets are not spending money waiting for fireworks. First Sunday of the month or coordinate with art walk. More is not better.

Let’s not pollute the waters more just to support big business millionaires

End the summe fireworks, besides the money that could be used elsewhere. They noise is traumatic for my animals. And the leftover waste is unexceptionable

End the summer fireworks and redirect the funds; they are disruptive o domestic and wild animals.

I understand the fireworks frighten too many local toddlers and/or they can't visit grandparents of Sunday evenings. I also believe there tax dollars could be better utilized.

Very upsetting to my dogs. They literally are in my back yard.Freaks them out and for what 5 minute show just to try and keep visitors on the island.

These frequent firework displays are very stressful to those of us with pets. We have to plan to be home to comfort our pets. In addition to dealing with comforting my pets, I hate to see all the trash on the Seawall left after setting off the fireworks.

I also would like to see this money spent elsewhere. I go to bed very early due to having to get up early for work. I have to be there at 5:30 am. This always wakes me up because my dogs are very traumatized and the noise.

Although nice for the tourists, this is a wasteful use of funds and a needless cause of pollution. If nothing else, reduce to once per month.

The $ should be put to better use. Its scares my 38 year old rabbit. Shivers every time she hears the noise.

I don't like the boom booms. I duck and cover everytime I hear them because of my PTSD

They remind me of my dead family members.

I would prefer a better use for the hotel tax funds as incentives for tourism!

Galveston residents should hold a higher respect and regard from the city. There should be an end to the Summer Sunday fireworks. This will eliminate the noise to the residents; and eliminate the unsanitary trash which is harmful to children, pets, and wildlife! The appropriated firework funds can be better used for the “good” of residents, tourists, children, pets, and wildlife!

Frequency takes away from 4th of July and (maybe) New Year’s Eve displays and is just annoying. Too much!
