Fort Benning is tremendously important to our military. The training received there is the very best of the best. This base needs to remain an active base to properly train our soldiers.

This is not a great move this will allow the enemy of the great United States of America to be defeated and Isil will take over and destroy what AMERICA once stood for was unity .

I don't feel we need to cut our soldiers. GOD forbid something crazy breaks out, we will need our number to defend our nation. Also I don't feel it's right to cut them when so many have served several years & they won't have the opportunity to retire. Some actually want to stay in & retire. I think everyone should be asked if they wanna stay in or get out. If they wanna stay let them stay in! They all love our country & want what is best for it.

This will be devastating to the community soldiers are a part of our everyday lives I know soldiers in the military that's scared that they might lose their careers before retirement if you ask my opinion of a civilian it's too much in the world going on to downsize our military we must protect home first don't think terrorist and other bad people are not listening about what you plan to do to the United States military we must stay strong there are power in numbers and the United States military number must be bigger than every other superpower country we are talking about freedom and way of life I think this is the beginning of a big mistake every community is talking about this let's stay strong

The Wars that are already going on in America, problems with Russia, China, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, North Korea, ISIS, here and everywhere, and we want to reduce our safety stability by reducing our protection is ludicrous. It is TIME Americans took America back. Personally for our 2 states, the economic impact scares the hell out of me and I am retired. Once the economic fallout begins, we will be easy target to finish off. Who, What, When, Where and Why is this happening?
