It's just outrageous that they keep enlisting people but they are just discarding people who had given their (including their families, life and health) to their country.

There were more than enough cuts made to our armed forces when the army was down to 700,000 men. Any further cuts are endangering our security beyond repair and our enemies will take advantage of our weakness as they have already have.

A strong military is paramount to our country's security. Ft, Benning is the one of our country's most important training facilities of young men and women who protect us from those who intend to do us harm. Don't back down, bullies don't confront the fittest dude in the bar!

Ft Benning has become such an integral part of our community, it would be disastrous to move 3,000++ troops and families to another post. The time and money invested by both the Columbus community and the Federal Government would be marginalized by any move. We have a world class installation in Ft Benning! If anything, more troops should be moved here to bring the base to full capacity!

Fort Benning and Columbus and Valley have been great partners from the very establishment of the original "Camp". It would be a terrible waste of taxpayers money to cut the personnel and services of the best military installation in the country.
