End PARCC testing
The PARCC testing was an awful decision and dragging New Jersey's education system (along with many other states) into the wrong direction. According to several different sources, the people (faculty and students) had no voice in this decision. Everyone associated with this "testing" is walking into the room blind. Students are being treated as mere idiots or as if they all have college level experience. The modern day expectations of high schoolers are driving them insane. We are students, not robots. PARCC testing gives the school less time to learn and rushed lessons to prepare for an absurd exam. Students are claiming to be stressed, anxious, depressed, angry, suicidal, etc., all due to our education system. Instead of moving at a gradual pace, teachers feel as they have to speed through lessons, to fit in room for PARCC preparation.
