Receipts are bad for the environment and here is why i would like to get rid of them.

About half of all receipts can't able to be recycled because they are covered with a toxic substance called bisphenol.
Also about it takes about 10 billion trees, 1 billion gallons of water and 250 million gallons of oil to make them.
One way to get rid of them is that stores should only give receipts when people ask for them, and instead use emailed receipts for people that want them.
