End OverDevelopment and OverSpending in Truro Now

I support protecting the natural resources and special qualities of Truro, and ensuring that it does not get over-developed or over-committed in its capital projects.

Who will lobby for the natural world if not us?

Planning for development continues rapidly, yet planning for future Water Resource management is proceeding at a snail's pace because P-Town/Truro are not yet on the same page on this shared and limited resource. Let's arrive at a unified view of how to insure clean drinking water to sustain those who are here, and IF there is any of this fragile resource left to support future development, we will plan accordingly.

Large projects will make the town even more expensive for local folks and seasonal workers...taxes get passed through to rent etc. There must be an alternative to building a 30+m DPW project...ie outsource some work to local contractors for plowing, repair the current facility until other options can be sorted out.

Thank you! We have a small cottage off Longnook Road. We need to protect our water and natural resources. And our taxes are already way too high!

I believe the majority of Truro residents have been concerned about the direction and pace of development for quite a while……..before it’s too late, let’s reconsider…please.

Overspending is driving the cultural backbone. the loyal Truro supporters who have a long history of enriching our community to have to sell their homes because of unbearable ever increasing taxes. This must be brought under control before Truro is forever ruined.

No developments on the Walsh property. The DPW is not affordable. Vote NO.

Amidst the sea of polarization, I have observed that we routinely skip data-driven conversation on what Truro actually needs.

Enough of this madness for a tiny town 59 miles out in the Atiantic. Truro could be gone with one bad nor’easter. What’s the matter with you people/fools.

I am convinced! Our smallest town does not need the largest most expensive DPW when compared to other recent comparable Massachusetts projects. Back to the drawing board.

Major infrastructure studies and zoning studies have to be conducted prior to any project approvals. The residents have a right and a need to know and not be kept in the dark before it is a fait accompli.

We need to carefully study the impact of building 4 to 5 story building buildings. Is there enough ground water to support this type of development? The ecosystem of Truro is very fragile and reckless development is not sustainable.

Let’s focus on expense reduction, maintaining Truro charm, and not allowing our beautiful town to succumb to the pressures of over development. Be respectful of our town and its resources

Please don’t do to Truro what has been done to Provincetown. The overbuilding is a major concern regarding water, wastewater and increase needs at the transfer station. I think Truro has more than enough projects in the works.

I am VERY concerned about the price tag for the DPW and what it will do to our annual taxes.
