End OverDevelopment and OverSpending in Truro Now

Slow down. What makes Truro attractive is limited development not growth.

what we value about Truro needs to be protected.

As a longtime Truro resident and small business owner, I am concerned about the multiple large scale projects the town is pursuing including their impact on town resources and how they are going to be financed. I believe we need to fully complete one project, give it some bake time to be able to adequately assess its successes and failures, and then learn from this and intelligently determine if the short-term and long-term trade-offs of the next project make sense.

I am a life long Truro resident. I am concerned about the multiple development projects the town is embarking on not only from the financial stand point (which is very concerning), but also from what this is doing to the character of Truro and its available resources particularly with respect to water and wastewater. The impact to town character and resources must be heavily factored in during these, what could be described as overzealous and border line reckless pursuits for large affordable housing projects of which I still do not find clear evidence that these residences will be going to local Truro families.

As a new resident, Truro was a draw because of its rural nature and lack of overdevelopment. In full support of this petition.

I am against all affordable housing plans as they exist in Truro. I am for protecting our water systems, hard stop.

In agreement especially concerning the soaring price tag of the DPW project. I thought that the citizens had already voted for the 12 mil version and refused to allocate the exaggerated amount.

lets stop selling our town to outside companies

Keep Truro Rural Protect the water and environment I say no to over building with affordable housing who is going to pay for increase infrastructure in the Town no to taxes going up! DPW should be built and can be built for less than money! No need for every vehicle to be in a garage! Employees for the Town should not be on Town boards conflict of interest!!

If people don't like the town rural the way it is there are so many more places to live

Taxes have more than doubled since 2011... this is nuts, while town services have gotten worst. Most normal towns have office's hours Monday through Friday excluding holidays starting at 8 am to 5pm not our town. Why

The spending plans and the over development of North Truro is alarming and unnecessary.

There's no sense of fiscal responsibility in this town. We, the voters need to take stand to stop this insanity and the destruction of our beautiful town

If the Town leaders were family members, we would be in Probate Court seeking a Conservatorship for its reckless runaway expenditures of family member's credit cards.
