I thought once we elected a new select board (and got rid of Weinstein ) that we would have leadership in sync with most of Truro voters. BUT, apparently not. Let’s get rid of these select people too!

Truro must start planning holistically, considering our needs as interrelated, coordinated and sustainable. This requires moving away from a seasonal economy and toward a balanced and integrated year-round community in which we care for one another, live simply and affordably, and are always conscious of our impact on the natural world and of our responsibility to protect it for future generations.

Over development uncontrolled is as Henry David Thoreau stated is a destruction of nature " by men of quiet desperation" which must be stopped as the gift of rural Truro is the jewel of life!

The reason people choose to live in Truro( the most beautiful town on the Cape) is because we have not overbuilt and crowded houses together. Let’s keep it that way.

The town is on an unsustainable spending path. The outsized subsidized housing projects threaten not only the water supply and rural character but also the education budget.
