I don’t agree with the charges and I believe this is ridiculous. There is no parking in Lindley at the best of times especially when the school opens/closed.

Ridiculous idea - Lindley tax payers use this car park for school runs, the chemist and supporting local business as there is not enough available parking in at certain times!

Parking charges will ruin a bustling village with a strong varied group of independent traders who work very hard to be competitive for their customers

Stop this madness. The leaders if the council are so short sighted. The knock on effect this would have will loose more than it gains. Also the issue of residential parking permit costs rising to an ANNUAL £50 CHARGE is outrageous. You can't charge some residents and not others for something we never wanted in the first place. The cost should be adjusted in our council tax bill. I feel very strongly about this issue.

The friendly and wonderful small business in our small villages need customers - parking charges will just drive people out of the villages which will have a huge and negative impact on the very hardworking and amazing people who work in them. Keeping our village communities and business in place is really important for the people who visit, the environment and the local economy. Please do not drive us out of our amazing village.

When you can’t afford to park in Huddersfield Town centre you rely on free car parks out of town. The council is killing life in and around Huddersfield.
