A hugely convenient car park mercifully free from greedy entrepreneurs. A boon to our local community. And now the council want to take it away. Beyond belief! We say, No.

Charging for parking will kill off even more businesses don’t give customers anymore excuses to buy from the internet. The council should remember a bankrupt shop won’t pay business rates.

Are they trying to kill the village?

Would not shop as readily in Lindley if no free parking. Already use online shopping and would probably continue this way. Please try and stop these charges.

This will kill Lindley's shops and lovely village atmosphere

Car parking in villages will impact hugely upon local traders as well as cause unjustified cost to locals who already pay substantial levels of community charge/taxes.

There are already too many parking restrictions in Lindley area and now with paid parking will lead to no travel zone and will impact business, parents, school etc

Please keep free carparks open in Lindley as the streets are already very congested and it will get worse if we have to pay for parking.

Free parking close to amenities encourages us to shop in Lindley

I understand why this is a temptation for the council. Tory government cuts have raped council budgets. This isn’t the answer tho.
