We are discriminating against people that have medical mask exemptions.
People who have been sexually abused or raped have a hard time wearing a mask bc of the trigger that arises for them.
In addition to this, people who are hearing impaired, have autism, and small children have a difficult time with mask wearing.
This is no longer a short term solution it has become a long-term solution and I think we need to start having real conversations about the benefits versus the risks of mask wearing.
Also, we have therapies and treatments that work for CV. We need to start looking at ALL of the science and allow room for debate. When we are in a fearful state we can’t think logically. We need to step back from the fear and look at all sides of this situation. Let’s focus on what is going right. I didn’t vote for the CDC directly. I did vote for my elected officials in Tampa. Anyone with blood in their body can see that there are serious problems in our federal government. Every day people are relying on our local government to hear our concerns. In addition to this; often the same people that make mask mandates do not have to wear a mask for 40 or 50 hours a week. Every day blue-collar working people are wearing a mask for very long hours a day and I do suspect that it is normal to have some people have some adverse reactions to mask wearing for so many months. None of the research that we have about mask wearing shows us the long term implications. It is all about short term prevention.
