Cultural norm accepted jungle justice as a way of punishing criminals and having other people desist from crime. We have gone past the generation that saw this form of justice system as the quickest and most appropriate system of punishment. Innocent people have become targets of jungle justice. When a culturally accepted norm that is meant to protect a people turns back and begin to swallow its own people without questions. Such norm must be banished. I challenge the social and cultural accepted norm of jungle justice. I condemn it and let the federal government of Nigeria make laws against this act.
