We are not enabling these people to improve they're lives and in "disabling" them, we are crippling our community and over taxing our resources

Revise the program and require previous residency to be benefits eligible. Such a waste...

It has always surprised me that this is happening. It certainly does not help or resolve the issue. At a whopping $2400 per month??? And without any cooking facilities. I am shocked.

This is clearly NOT a solution to the homelessness issue. That Massachusetts is the only state to offer such a program is proof positive that Beacon Hill is populated by pols who will always find the wrong solution to a problem.

I agree that this should end, but I would also love to hear the thoughts on an alternative.

Great news, we have reached the first milestone of 100 signatures. Now if all of us got 10 people to sign it, we would surpass the 1,000 and be ready to send it off to Governor Patrick. Let's share this information and get to 1,000!

People come to this state to take advantage of this program. This is is such a waste of money and a burden to the cities and towns that these hotels are in. Read the police log. They are in it daily.
