Because we thought the large bang noise on our street, us and the neighbors never called 911.
It wasn’t fireworks, someone got shot and one of the bullets wound up in the elementary school. Thank God it was at night when the school was closed.

Someone almost lit my maple tree on fire the other day shooting fireworks close to my house. People have no consideration for safety.

We’ve had it every night for the last week. I’m tired of our dog being scared to death. Mount Joy does not enforce anything.

Every night that skies are clear in York, my cat is running for cover because neighbors think 9:30-10:30 PM is a good time for explosions.

Disturbing the peace is a misdemeanor criminal offense. In many cases, the first time violation for disturbing the peace would not result in jail time. Depending on the jurisdiction, a disturbing the peace violation can result in the following: Misdemeanor, minor infraction, or ordinance violation (ticket citation)Apr 18, 2018

I keep finding firework residue in my yard and roof... ie: bottle rocket stems.
This needs to stop before someone's house catches fire. In this neighborhood, that could mean an entire block and that would displace more than 20 people!

Our dog gets very distressed. I have to confine him to the kitchen so it it is easier to cleanup the poop, pee and vomit. Traumatized for days. I should not have to deal with this. I should not have to medicate him for this. I should not have to spend my night like this. Would you want to?

My brother is a war veteran, and fireworks set off his PTSD which can literally be debilitating. I find them offensive and annoying, but how about consider your war veterans?

If people don't want the law changed, they need to limit fireworks to JULY 4th and NEW YEARS EVE. Here in Upper Moreland, PA it happens ALL summer, very inconsiderate.
