the fireworks are really bad in north newberry street neighborhood. scares my cat so bad she hides and it is hard to find her.

I don’t mind occasional fireworks around holidays or special personal celebrations. But every night is excessive and annoying.

As a long-term resident of York City, I have noticed a marked increase in fireworks usage in the last several years. It’s a very dangerous practice around these old, tightly packed houses. Please restrict their use and impose severe penalties on violators.

It's been a mere 3 years and already I would like to make fireworks illegal again. Enough is enough. Homes are burning down, the hospital ERs are seeing the results of legal fireworks, pets are suffering and our right to live peacefully in our homes is being destroyed. I can't see that there is a way to scale down at this point. It has gotten too out of control and needs to end.

We can't tell if there are gunshots or fireworks. The animals are a wreck and I have to get up at 4:30AM and the noise is still going on till midnight or longer.

It's been ridiculous! Night after night and I tried calling the cops but they have been busy. It also puts firemen unnecessarily at risk battling fires.
