I'm currently doing Edgenuity and its Spanish program is horrendous. Lack of consistency and visualization, and there's no way to contact the company itself for criticisms. Do not let your child do this program.

I attend "GACHS" formerly known as Provost academy .. I'm a senior with a few classes left . It's very hard to do the classes what would take me half a week to complete 1 class will prob take me 3 months . 19 videos 2 instruction viedos and a quiz but 420 task or whatever you want to call it . Edgenuity where "learning clicks" need to either get it together or just get rid of it and bring back provost . It's really a shame .

Edgenuity does not teach my child anything. It is just a class that we have to struggle through in order for her to graduate. It is stressful and has way to many quizzes. Plus in order to move past a quiz if you attempt it 3 times which is ridiculous you have to wait for the teacher to unlock your session in order to move forward. Sometimes it takes days and you get really behind ! It is just not a good way of learning for children because they do not learn from it they just try to get through it.

Horrible program!!! My son now in the 11th grade had his overall high school average decreased from an "A" to a "C" in less than one semester. This should be a sign in itself there is a problem. Although you will only get the local schools to defend it because it is financially better for the school system!!!!

My son was an honor/merit roll student until he was offered Edgenuity classes. He has ADHD and takes medication for this. He has the same complaints of falling behind and being unable to catch up. We have made multiple complaints to our school system and we have had multiple meetings but no one can seem to give you a straight answer as to what can be done or what is being done all the while my son's GPA falls. This is unacceptable.

videos are way too long and it's hard to pay attention after a while. needs to be a little more interactive and quick.

I completely agree with what is said in this petition. I know that someone somewhere is making money off of this edgenuity nonsense and it must stop immediately.
