I would like to end all animal cruelty that takes place during carriage tour rides in the city. Horses and mules are being tortured daily, forced to partake in the abuse of carrying along tourist for the city’s gratification year round. The animals are being forced to drag and carry people in a carriage through 90 degrees Fahrenheit & higher covered with metal and leather that’s burning into their souls. They are suffering, and barely able to walk. I never see the animals drinking water or ever stopping for rest. I work in the French Quarters of New Orleans, Louisiana so I have to witness this atrocity on the daily. It hurts a number of people to have to continue to witness this atrocity, including myself. I live for the day when this horrible abomination to them ceases & never occurs again. They are suffering, they are dying. Animals have rights also, help them.
