A lot of young boys were given this sentence for petty crime,they have served the minimum senrence of someone having a lfe sentence absolutely disgraceful society has let these young boys down badly

The IPP sentence was never used for what it was brought in for. Too many people have suffered for too long at the hands of this sentence it needs to stop!!!

It's a sentence that fit for humans. It's disgusting and appalling. My brother was given an IPP Tariff of 4 years at the age of 18. His now 30 and still imprisoned

Enough is enough it is time these prisoners were released as this inhumane sentence as been abolished and no longer needed. So many of these souls are over tariff that there is no good reason why they are still being detained. Anyone today committing the same crime as any of these prisoners have done would get sentenced with a release date without having to prove they are longer dangerous to the public. Which should also mean remaining prisoners on a IPP sentence should be released on the same grounds.

My oh is an ipp was recalled over 4years ago it's unjust as this sentence is a living nightmare he was found not guilty in court on his recall he shouldn't be custody. This government really need to let them go they have done there time and more over their life time government need to start acting on their words... And act above it...

IPP (inexcusable persistent persecution) Perceived risk is just that. You cannot hold someone in prison because a peice of software says they may be a risk.
