This is an appalling travesty of justice! When other less deserving prisoners are being released early and prisons are over crowded - RELEASE these people! It is not just them effected but wider families and therefore communities. Just do something!

I recieved my IPP in 2007. My tarif was 4 and a half years. I secured my first release in 2016 however have been recalled twice. I am curently on license now. But have little hope i will remain in the comunity for long. I feel hopeless and broken. I see no life just constant Inhumane psychological persecution. Thats what the ipp truly represents!

They know it is Inhumane which is why they abolished it. To keep them in prison without a review is no different from the nazis and concentration camps. Being held without reason. Mentally tortured with no hope. All should be reviewed and given release dates.

My brother has been in prison on an ipp sentence for around ten years now for a crime that should of warranted around 4 years

My son at large from an Ipp sentence and he as served 12 n half years went to open prison now he's out there on the streets depressed and alone x

My partner is an ipp and to be honest is a living nightmare this government really need to sort this sentence out like give them a chance to live there life's and be happy get a release date...

As a former ipp prisoner this sentence is inhumane never having a release date waiting years for courses you have failed before even starting your sentence
