I do not agree with the process of outsourcing a department when we have adequate and far more reliable resources within our community. AMR has proven to not have our community as a major priority.

I live literally, about 450 yards from the nearest fire station. It is utterly outrageous and completely unreasonable to expect ANY tax payer to wait 15 minutes for medical help when it could be only seconds away!! Clearly, the San Joaquin County Supervisors must believe that human life is cheap and easily disposable. Or is it that they are in bed with AMR? Either way, this policy needs to be changed or the voters will dispose of THEM at the next electoral opportunity. The Supervisors would do well to remember who is the servant and who is the sovereign here.

If this isn't the craziest thing I've ever heard. So my mom is 63 if she becomes unresponsive it will NOT BE EXCEPTED for the Tracy Fire not to respond it's a "MEDICAL EMERGENCY" Not oh," She's 63 she's lived her life!" It's called to PROTECT AND SERVICE!!!!!! As a person who's in the medical field we took an oath how dare you not HONOR IT!!!!!
