We have lived in Emerald Forest for 14 years. The creek flows right behind our house. Because of the flooding problem in EF our mortgage company has recently forced us to get flood insurance. Please fix this problem and don't add to it by allowing commercial businesses to build close to the neighborhood.

We back up to the flood plain on Amber Ridge and the picture is our next door neighbors. It was the worse we have seen in 30 years and was all the way up to our driveway parking places. We need help with this problem!!

This problem must be solved. City officials will not get involved until pressure is brought, so we need to apply pressure where possible.

The Bee Creek flooding issue needs to be addressed. Major improvements to the channel from Sebesta to Emerald Parkway done a few years ago did not include any downstream improvement and so the water stacks up for those living north of Emerald Pkwy. Logically you improve the downstream channel first and not the upstream channel. The order of improvements exacerbated the flooding problems because the upstream improvements increased flow velocity and volume with no place for the water to go, and hence flooding into yards and for some water at or above slab elevations in EF.

Emerald Forest is the most livable family friendly subdivision in town. Please help keep it so! So many of our College Station neighborhoods have been allowed to deteriorate beyond salvation in the past years.
