Please do not remove the grass and trees from Arabian Ranches. My children love to play on the grass and this is very important to us as a family.

what was the consultative process with the residents and owners before this decision was made ? Was there a planning notice to allow objections to be heard before we have non residents (emaar community management) making decisions on our behalf? It seems that information would tell us this rubber surface will have the same surface temperature as tarmac, which means that children wanting to play barefooted will need to play somewhere else! The rubber surface will gather dust and detract from the appearance of the park and who has ever heard of a park without grass?! Our children love to play on the grass, EMC should overturn this ridiculous decision, without delay. What will they decide next, remove all of the trees and plants and replace them with artificial one because they are too difficult to maintain!!!!!!!!!

We ask EMAAR to retun grass back to parks.
We understand EMAAR decided to replace grass with rubber to save their time and effort to maintain the grass in perfect condition, but its a park, there is no problem if grass becomes patchy here and there. Grass is part of nature, and we want out children to have an opportunity to play on a grass but not on rubber. The temperature of the rubber which is installed in Casa was taken yesterday by my husband and an ECM Engineer and the temperature was an average of 59 degrees Celsius at the same time the Natural Grass temperature was also taken and was an average 36 degrees Celsius - rubber surface is 39% hotter than the grass. It is a safety hazard for children playing and it makes the park hotter!

This is an outrage, the established communities in Dubai with life and green foliage are the only thing turning Dubai from the desert that it once was to the future oasis that it is thankfully turning into. Leave those trees and grass alone please...
