Hi, This is a petition for fans to be able to wait outside BBC Elstree Studios so that we can meet our favourite EastEnders (& other shows) cast members.
Fans always used to be able to peacefully wait outside the studios however in recent months, there has been some rude, inappropriate people who have caused havoc, noise and disruption to cast members, the public and other residents.
Due to these rude "fans", there have been complaints from the residents and so the police and BBC Elstree have now told the public that we're not allowed to wait there anymore and also that the cast members are no longer allowed to stop for us. . This is really upsetting as this is some fans only chance to meet their idols and make their dreams come true! Some cast members do want to stop and are very vocal of this. Some of them have said in the past that they'd like to be able to stop if they want to. No-one is forcing the ones who don't like stopping to stop.
We understand the residents have more rights than us, but we really don't want to destrupt them. We would like this to change and to make it safer for the real fans to be able to carry on going. Why ruin our dreams for the sake of a few non fans who would never go again?

I have been reviewing the stories left in the comments section and the shared desire for a respectful solution is clear. My primary focus remains communicating with the studio management to demonstrate that a quiet and orderly environment is entirely achievable for loyal fans.

I'm glad police are going to stop Elstree visits. The actors don't deserve to be harassed especially by MonaLisa.
I think this petition is a great idea, it's horrible how some people have to ruin it for the ret of us.
This is stupid just cos of some immature people that decent people and loving fans that really want to meet there idols that have there dream shattered! this is not right and i really hope this works and people can meet the cast again and meet there idols!
im genuinely heartbroken. keep crying just thinking about it and im not over reacting. its my favourite place in the world. have so many memories and so many good times there. why would anyone want to take that away from us?
You can't stop our dreams! A few silly people shouldn't be allowed to ruin it for the rest of us. EastEnders fan till I die!

literally so unfair. ive been going to elstree for years and never caused a problem. why are we all getting punished for what a couple of idiots did? i just wanna see the cast :( (
