I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the Parks and Recreation department to discuss potential locations for a court. Their staff is currently reviewing the proposal and I expect a follow up regarding site requirements by next week.

The momentum behind this proposal has prompted a formal follow-up meeting with the local parks department to discuss site feasibility. We are currently drafting a presentation that outlines specific zones for the potential court installation.

LONG OVERDUE. The town is growing and we need more outdoor rec stuff like this.
my kids love playing and there is literally nowhere to go around here. put it in the park district budget already!
Why do we have to go to the city or suburbs 30 mins away for a simple game? Build it.
Yes please. We have to drive way too far just to find a court. Elk Grove needs this.
it would be so fun to have a league here in the summer. really hope they actually do it.

about time someone mentioned this. really missing a spot to play in the sun.
