Yes, but on the condition as stipulated by Mr. G. Prinsloo. We don't want to drive over "pavements" it should be unfelt, please.

Yes for speedbumps, but this needs to be properly designed then it will not affect vehicle emissions. An engineer can design a speedbump which will be almost unfelt if driven over at 40km/h. Faster and it will become uncomfortable. The idea is to keep under 40km/h.

Children and pets are not safe, when it come to speeding. I do strongly support this Petition to have Speed bumps installed especially on the Main Road leading into Elisenheim!

No need for speed humps. Landlords must get level headed individuals to rent out their properties to and not just have an interest to take cash home. Tenants and owners must adhere to traffic regulations in township.

NO, Speed bumps goes against the founding principle of Elisenheim i.e. "impacting on nature as little as possible". Smooth driving reduces emissions and stop-start acceleration and deceleration braking is harmful as it affects air quality - it is putting out more through the tail-pipe. Elisenheim should set a trend as a clean air zone. Air pollution contributes to tens of thousands of early deaths every year and it increases the risk of lung cancer and impairs children's lung development etc. We need a soft approach i.e. awareness to positively influence our driving attitude inside the Estate. We can do it!
