My niece and her husband, whose only source of income is as restaurant servers, would be negatively affected by this bill. Please do not eliminate the tip credit..

As bartenders and servers we already make minimum wage, get taxed crazy on our tips and get no pay checks because of it, work our asses off crazy hours to keep guest happy and they want to do this its crazy

Would ruin my industry! Our staff make much more with the tip credit in place, easily averaging over $25 per hour. And they also pay taxes on these high wages which benefits all!

This is crazy! I'm a single mother who has worked in the food service industry for 15 years. This is the only way I know how to support my family and I won't be able to if they take away my tips. I don't understand who this law is meant to benefit, but it certainly isn't going to help those of us who have chosen this as our career.

My granddaughter and son-in-law both work at fine restaurants to earn money for college and this bill would hurt their earnings significantly. Do not eliminate this credit, please!!!!!!

As a single mom who works very hard to provide excellent service... I just can't understand why. .. CT, how about you worry about why people are fleeing the state because of highest real estate tax, high taxes and jobs...
