GM Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub Vernon, Ct. This is just a bad bill. It would negatively affect all Restaurants, Servers, and Bartenders in CT.

We have over 450 TM’s working for 99 In Connecticut and this Bill if passed would have a Very Negative Impact on how we successfully operate today. I really care about this cause, and I'd love it if you joined me in supporting it. It's free and takes just a few seconds of your time. Thanks!

My daughter is a. Bartender and runs that bar and had slow bartenders who don't preform as well.. why share tips with people who don't do the work..not fair to wait staff or bartenders..

This is absolutely ridiculous! Who would this help? Those in the restaurant industry work so hard and deserve MORE than the tips that they receive. Eliminating tips would just result in even more job loss in CT, and give those in the industry a valid reason to leave this state.

The result of eliminating the tip credit WILL result in more lost jobs in CT in the hospitality industry, I site the recent closures of 3 restaurants as a reason to not eliminate the tip credit.

This Bill is a terrible idea and will kill the restaurant industry as we know it. It benefits NO ONE and is harmful to servers as it will result in the elimination or tips - which they count upon as most of their income comes from tips. The unintended consequences of this Bill are so terrible and far reaching that it is hard to believe that this has been thought through by the proponents of this Bill. See Steve Yung's comments for further clarification.
