Elimination of Tip Credit - Employee Wages: House Bill 7084

This people work hard for the tips, allow them to keep them

I will literally go bankrupt and lose the house I've been working 12 years as a bartender for.

Dont effect a server income. Why ruin a good thing. This the way restaurant have run for years. Leave it be

I want to keep the tip credit !! It is bad for owners and bad for employees to lose this tip credit. it will hurt more than it will help my employees.

This is absurd! Some people don't tip at all and orthers do. I personally (as a bartender) think it's the customers descresion to decide what and if they want to tip!

Stay out of my purse and cut welfare rather than trying to adjust an industry you know nothing about! You will hurt my bottom line with this bill and the state economy

As a restaurant owner, I employ 19 people on a part and full time basis. It's a tough industry with long hours and it's truly difficult to make ends meet at times . Do not eliminate this credit it will put many restaurant in the ref

We at Toad's Place are against HB 7084. The tip credit should stay in place.

Joey Garlics (Newington) Bartender/Server. I work better knowing that my customers are going to tip me, and (generally) the better service I give, the better tip I get. The harder I work and the more tables I service, the more money I make. If servers and bartenders go to a set wage, there is no incentive to work harder or go the extra mile. I've been to countries where it's not customary to tip, and the service is slow, and the servers are apathetic. This bill hurts the servers and it hurts the consumers.

We need our tips to survive! This is our living!

I work and depend on my tips. I want to go back to school and will not be able to work 40 hours a week so I need the tips to put myself through school. Minimum wage is not enough.
