This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any community. UVA should be no different. In fact, we should be fostering one of the most welcoming and diverse communities in the country, as we are a university dedicated to innovation, forward progress, education, and unity. We strive towards the endless pursuit of bettering ourselves as individuals, academic scholars, friends, and leaders in our world. It is high time we eliminated the hate.

The best possible outcome of this election is that it will finally trigger dialogue that has been neglected, and I truly hope that can happen at UVa
