I have been talking with local promoters who actually see the potential for a massive turnout here at the Convocation Center. We need to keep the momentum high so the administration realizes this is not just a passing interest.

Seeing this level of excitement for a show at our center is honestly overwhelming. We are proving that our campus is ready for this energy and I am so proud to be part of this movement with all of you.

Ryan Tubbs does great work and is very worthy of this opportunity. As the resident DJ of two nightclubs in Pittsburgh, I can say I fully stand behind this effort and think that he is beyond qualified to host such an event.
This is an opportunity to showcase quality local talent and provide a thoroughly entertaining atmosphere. CalU used to be a liberal arts college.. is it still? In 1972 Cal had Isaac Hayes perform, a rather liberal artist for his time and the 60's generation. Let the people who keep this place in business enjoy ourselves.
PLEASE. SOMETHING FUN FOR ONCE. And something the students would actually want to go to.
This is the greatest idea ever. Finally someone stops complaining about the crappy concerts and does something about it.
CalU needs something fun. Something that the students want to go to. Not country.

Would bring LOTS of money to the college, town, & businesses. This is what CalU needs for the upperclassmen that have been wanting a fun concert and will also put CalU on the map for future incoming students. The pro to con ratio for having this concert is without a doubt heavy to the pros.
